Courtrooms

Poor acoustics and noisy courtrooms can make court proceedings difficult for anyone to hear, much less individuals with a hearing loss. An assistive listening device (ALD) delivers sound (speech) directly to the listener without the background noise. When electronic eavesdropping is a concern, a feature to consider when selecting an ALD system is one with coded encryption for transmitting audio via secure channels.
