About Harris Communications

We want to be the one-stop source of products for Deaf and Hard of Hearing people, from assistive products like vibrating clocks and amplified phones to books and DVDs on sign language and improving interpreting skills.

How we began:

Harris Communications, Inc. was established as a mail order catalog company in 1982 by Dr. Robert Harris. Dr. Harris is a member of the deaf community and began as a local distributor of assistive devices for the deaf in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. Since that time, the customer base has expanded to the national and international level, selling direct to customers and through resellers to individuals who are deaf, have some level of hearing loss, or are interested in sign language.

What we offer:

As the customer base has grown, so have the variety and types of products sold. The product line currently includes over 2,000 products designed to help individuals in their everyday lives, with new items continuously being considered for the catalog and webstore.
