I've had the Krown for a couple of years and it has worked great - until recently. Now, the light randomly flashes in the middle of the night. The phone isn't ringing, the light just flashes a couple of times.
It may be phone line related - I've changed the batteries - but it is still waking me up with the flashing - so unfortunately, I've had to discontinue use of it.

I am a night owl and therefore am asleep before noon. The previous loud ringer did not wake me up. This ringer and the flashing light get the job done!

My mother-in-law is slowly loosing her capacity to hear clearly. She has started missing phone calls, especially while sleeping. Now if that device doesn't wake her up, I don't know what will. Very loud, with several settings (tone & intensity). Perfect !

I couldn't even unscrew the door to put the batteries in because the screw was damaged. I had to return the product.
