  1. My child's favorite books...ever. ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT! Review by Leslie
    Overall Satisfaction

I started signing with my oldest child, now 11, soon after he was born and I have signed with all 5 of my children. It feels like I have seen or used every sign language product ever produced and I have NEVER seen sign language presented to children in such a brilliant way. HOW I WISH I'D HAD THESE BOOKS ALL ALONG. The rhythms, rhyming schemes, and colorful pictures combine to make these books as much fun to read as they are to listen to and the sign language component makes them truly intriging for children. My 3-year-old carries these books around with her 'reading' them to anyone who will listen. The pictures and logical progression of text make her think she is really reading (and she signs right along as well). She just about bursts with pride every time she gets to share. These are also the only books that can successfully hold the attention of my 1-year-old. What a wonderful introduction to reading and signing these books have been for my little people. In addition, as an elementary school teacher on hiatus (to raise children), I am positive that I will use these books in my own classroom once I go back to teaching. I am certain they will be a priceless resource. This mother will be forever grateful to Dawn Prochovnic for writing such a fantastic series of books. (Posted on 3/4/2010)
