Clarity AlertMaster Doorbell Transmitter

I forced to re-order it because there are no alternative doorbell will work with Clarity. So I got it last week . I put it and cover the button to protect from Sun. Hot summer sun do melt the button and disappeared. I complaints to Clarity maker. Don't buy it if sun shine your front door. (Posted on 12/11/2017)

We have a 15 year old receiver and the wireless doorbell broke. We ordered the new door bell and had no idea if it will work. It did and fantastic. Cheaper than everyone else and free shipping. (Posted on 7/24/2017)

The button melted, making it hard to press after the button was gone. I had to order another one. I wish there is a button that can resist 90 degree weather!

This door alarm MUST be improved, MUST have new button material, like hard plastic, not rubber that can melt itself, even with roof we have no sun on it. 10 years same product and will be my third one, sigh? (Posted on 4/26/2017)

This doorbell transmission is my second one and the button for ringing the doorbell has melted already. 40 dollars for the transmission is expensive compared to what you can buy in the store. The button needs to be a better quality one that can weather different kinds of weather. Mine down in La melted and so did my friend's up here in Ontario. No matter where we are - both hot and cold climate, the button melts. What is up with that? (Posted on 4/12/2017)

My wife was about to have minor surgery and I was thinking of the best way for her to signal me in our 3 level home. I do have an extensive Alert Master signaling system,so I ordered a spare door bell transmitter. My wife always had the transmitter with her. Wherever she was and wherever I was, she could press the doorbell button and the receivers would pick up the signal and I would know she wanted me. This system was GREAT. (Posted on 2/15/2016)

I have had a Clarity Alertmaster System since around 2000, with which I have had no problems until one of the two doorbell ring transmitters went kaput after 15 years of service. I highly recommend this system which connects with doorbells, Sorenson VP, smoke alarms, clocks with vibrators/flashing lights, burglar alarms, etc. This is a super-great buy! (Posted on 1/2/2016)

I really appreciate having this door bell signaling device, but still have issues with quality. I have purchased several. The button melted and became a gooey mess as well as not working. For the price, I should receive a quality product and not have to keep replacing them. (Posted on 11/16/2015)

I tried to remove the cover to replace the battery and the tabs or catchs on the top broke off. Being only 1/8" plastic as a catch, which was hard to open with caution and still broke off. I had to put the scotch tape on them to get together.
But that is the only one kind I keep on order to buy because I can't find another better ones.
Hope there will be the best ones for all of us deaf and hard of hearing. Thanks.

I raelly appreciate having the remote door bell, but the need to frequently replace after a year or 2 is frustrating. The quality is very poor and therefore unreliable. (Posted on 11/20/2013)

I have Alertmaster wireless doorbell for many years. i love it.. this is my second wireless doorbell and work well. I know it is cheap and breakable due to sun. I will have to order two for back up in the future. (Posted on 10/6/2010)

The one I brought will be the 5th one in 10 years, they do not last long and as as mentioned above the weak two top catches always break off, wonder why we deaf have to accept such cheap crap for 5x the price of what hearing people pay for a simple door bell? (Posted on 3/29/2010)

or was that your plan in the first place to make it cheap and breakable.
